Taster Sessions

All levels welcome | small class sizes | 2 hours | £85pp

Our taster class is a relaxed, beginner-friendly pottery experience designed to give you the chance to get behind the wheel, get your hands dirty and have a go at making your own pots.

You’ll be guided through the basics step by step, from preparing your clay and centring to shaping and throwing your own pieces. Whether it’s your first time at the wheel or you’ve had a little go before, there’s plenty of guidance and support throughout.

With just 6 spaces available per session, you can book a space for yourself, bring a friend, or book the whole group together.

At the end of the session, you’ll choose your favourite pieces to be glazed and fired. They’ll be ready to collect from the studio around 4–6 weeks later, or we can arrange postage.

There’s no pressure to make perfect pots — your first attempts are all part of the fun! This is about trying something new, slowing down and enjoying the experience of working with clay.

  • All tools, materials, glazing, and firing included

  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy [aprons provided]

  • Keep nails short and hair tied back if possible
