1 day intesive course // pottery throwing

£180 per person · 10AM–4PM · All materials included . For beginners & intermediate potters · Max 4 students

Learn the foundations of throwing in a relaxed, small group setting.

Join us for a full day of pottery throwing at Clay & Canvas studio — a hands-on, small group session designed for both beginners and those with a little experience. Whether you're learning the basics or refining your skills, this relaxed and supportive course gives you space to explore the wheel at your own pace.

We'll kick things off with a coffee and demo, before you settle in at your own wheel to start throwing. You'll get plenty of individual guidance as we work through centring, pulling, and shaping — and intermediate students can focus on their own goals or troubleshooting specific techniques.

After a 40-minute break for lunch, we’ll continue practicing, and you’ll also get the chance to trim one of your pieces with guidance. At the end of the day, you’ll choose four of your favourite pots to be glazed and fired — ready to collect in 4–6 weeks.

What’s included:
- Your own wheel for the full day
- All clay, tools, glaze & firing
- 4 finished pieces to keep
- Tea & coffee
- A relaxed and creative studio vibe

All materials, tools and firing included. No experience needed
